So you're looking to adopt a rattie, huh...

Rat Haven is dedicated to finding forever homes for the currently homeless ratties. All rats that enter Rat Haven, live in the comfort of a family setting and are socialized and played with daily until they find their permanent family. No rat is ever euthanized - they will live in foster care as long as it takes. Please consider saving the life of a homeless rat today!

Adoption Information

Currently, our adoption fee is $10.00 per rat. If more than one rat came into the rescue together, we usually will want them adopted out in pairs, since rats are social colony animals and prefer to be with other rats. Our adoption fee is minimal and helps us cover costs of food, bedding, housing, and vet visits if needed. Needless to say, donations of larger amounts are always welcome to help us support the continuation of Rat Haven Rescue.

Upcoming Events!

Rat Haven Rescue works in conjunction with The Last Chance Sanctuary. We bring adoptable animals to the Viera PETCO (next to the Walmart) for viewing. Please look for updates on this page as to when the ratties are visiting!

Thank you to all those that helped make our Rat Show in March and our Rat Trick Training Seminar in May a great success!

Check back for updates on our next rat event this summer!!
