| Comments: | keeping anyheat i even put her under my shirt for her to get my body warmth but nothing. She started to breath really shallow like almost gasping for air , and eventually she passed away. i dont think the two deaths were linked to eachother . They were both getting old and i think Rosas death had something to do with the gene line of the breeder. because my cousins rat was from the same guy and she died the same exact way,but i just wanted to let you know they archie did pass away but i assure you he had a great life with me.I forgot to mention Popeye did get the same abcess in his eye his is healed up but left blind in one eye.I wanted to thank you for givin me Archie and popeye and giving me such a sweet boy . i am so happy to of had him in my life.He is the kind of rat that could turn the whole world around with their image of rats.Thanks melissa |

| Comments: | started to look up and when i got him, he was so spoiled getting treats and always having me and zeus to be around. i know he enjoyed his time with me and im just happy he doesnt have to be in pain with those abcesses. but through all he went through he was still the most loving little boy.So as you know i had my first rat Rose the orange and white one i got her from the food breeder in titusville as did my cousin get Fiona (white albino). well i dont know what happen but she fell ill so quickly(as did Fiona prior). it was like she was almost paralyzed. i just seen her the day before and my boyfriend also texted me letting me know about her condition he cleaned her up wrapped her up in towel and a blanket and rubbed her to keep her warm.Its like her mind was there but her body wasnt moving at all so he came and picked me up from work bringin her with him and i got her home gave her a luke warm bath washing anything off of her and then just keeping her warm but her body just wasnt keepi |

| Comments: | hey its Melissa i havent talked to you in a while but i wanted to give you an update on the babies. Well recently Archie passed away he had gotten a abcess in his eye which i kept cleaned and healed up and then he got one in his groin area which also healed up and then he got one in his testicles which the abcess went down but then got worse.There was something wrong with the ware bottle which i fixed so he was a little dehydrated and then i nursed him back with lots of vitamins and water. Then about 2 days after that he fell ill again my boyfriend had called me at work saying he wasnt doing any good so i rushed home to find him just laying on the floor. i picked him but and he got so frail and little so i gave him some water but i knew his end was coming so all i could so was hold him i rubbed his face letting him know everything is going to be ok and not even being in my arms 15 mins he eventually let go and passed away. i knew he had a bad life before coming to you and then everythi |

| Comments: | Nice to see a rat rescue close by! I've been doing it for several years with Small Angels Rescue in Frederick, MD & thru local shelters on my own up there. I just moved back here recently. I am a professional petsitter with Pet Priorities, and I also have my own business called Kindred Spirit Healing Arts where I practice Reiki and Healing Touch for Animals, as well as Bio-Mat therapy, Flower Essences, and Holistic Nutrition. I'm down to 2 ratties at the moment, 3 mice and a guinea pig, several cats and 2 dogs ... all rescues ... you know the routine! I'm in the process of revamping my Rat Room (yes, they have their own room!) and I'll be in touch shortly about possibly adding another, I have a soft spot for the boys! What is your adoption process like? May be able to offer you foster care on occasion also, if that would help ... Diane |

| Comments: | aww how cute from ur mommy! yes the rat show was great!!! cant wait for upcoming ones. since the pet show i got a cage to put Archie , Zeus and Emile in , and they love it! They sleep together in one tube, which they probably should they are such big boys. keep me updated on more events ill defintly be there |
